David is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, currently a Colonel,in the U.S. Army Army National Guard, and award-winning entrepreneur recognized for his leadership across military, business, and education.
He is the founder of The Art of Thinking SMART™, a nationally ranked blog and resource hub, and has authored hundreds of articles and contributed to McGraw-Hill Education textbooks.
David serves as Senior Global Director of IoT Solutions and Emerging Technology at a top Fortune 200 company, while continuing to teach, write, and mentor on strategy, innovation, and resilience.
His career spans leading 1,600+ soldiers in crisis response, advising on $3B+ in deal flow, and building companies from startup to scale.
